Summary: Images online are deceptive, I almost didn’t stay here because I felt like it might run down due to the images. The stay definitely was unique and the rooms were updated. The price was great for the quality!

Summary: No elevators. If you have a room on the 3rd floor you have to haul your luggage up by yourself. Pretty tiring by the time you get to the top.

Summary: The lodge is very old and has some of the problems of old age. But it is well maintained and the furnishings are lovely mission style pieces. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful; the front desk fellow carried our luggage from the handicap parking lot to our room. The room was a spacious two room suite and the king size and queen size beds were very comfortable with excellent linens and pillows. All in all well worth the high price and torturous mountain drive Beware of mountain sickness at the 9000 foot elevation.

Summary: The Hotel is very nice and it is very close to everything in the town. With that said, everything in town closes at 5pm. Also, at the hotel they had a very late check in Time (3:00 O'Clock) and they were very much waiting until 3 to let you check in...So be mindful of checking in after three and still being able to visit the shops and such which closed very quickly after check in. For the most part the restaurants were open till 8 or 9, but still closed early compared to what us city slickers are used to.

Summary: This is a beautiful, well maintained property. It is spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that there is no elevator and no one available to help with luggage and it was extremely difficult for me an older woman to drag my luggage up to the third floor.
