Positive: Felt relaxing and homely. Jon and Mandy met us upon arriving and after briefing us where everything was we were left to our own devices. They both expressed that if we needed anything at all just to ask. They were very un-intrusive and the atmosphere was very friendly. The hot tub was a bonus and a very welcome way to chill after returning from our days excursions around Norfolk.

Negative: It isn't a dislike more of a suggestion but it would be an idea to have a small sheltered place to hang towels and wet or damp clothing to air or dry. We had our share of rain during our visit and me being a walker found that I needed somewhere to air my boots and garments. There was a rotary washing airer in the garden but not under cover so anything damp was kept in the annex where we were staying, not really ideal as it was such a lovely well kept place.

Summary: Great getaway to relax and or explore.

Positive: The annex was clean and spacious, it had everything we needed to cook for ourselves there and was in such a great area as it was easy both to get to Norwich centre and to the coast.

Positive: The Lodge was central to most areas we wanted to visit, very well equipped. Comfortable too. The welcome treats were very welcome.

Negative: We didn’t realise how close to the road the lodge was and found it noisy at bedtime.

Positive: The accommodation was perfect a little home from home. Wonderful hosts the welcome pack was excellent. The bed was so comfortable, the accommodation was clean and tasteful. There was nothing we needed. The added bonus of a hot tub which we used was a treat. A great find and will return when the weather warms up. Towels and robes were provided was a nice touch. The towels were fluffy in general which is nice to see. What a superb stay The location was fantastic central to everywhere we needed to go. You will not be disappointed.

Negative: Only one whinge the bathroom light was dim. That's the only thing we could say.
