The Loft is a purpose built studio apartment above a large double garage at the entrance to our property. The space is accessed via a single flight of stairs. The Loft is split into two spaces - a large studio and a small second bedroom. Up to 2 additional fold away beds and a cot can be provided in these 2 spaces - you can let us know what you prefer.
The Loft is a self-sufficient space away from the main house. Guests are welcome to enjoy our orchard and field and meet the friendly sheep and chickens. Children will enjoy our rope swing and trampoline. The alarmed garage is available for guest use.
For your security, we have a monitored camera system that covers all of the external area at Brook Dale.

The Loft has a kitchen with fridge, cooker, hob and microwave. We provide all the utensils and crockery you will need to make a meal. There is a laundry room situated in the garage beneath the loft with washing machine and freezer for guest use,
The Loft is ideally situated for visits to the city of Leicester (9 miles) and sites relating to the Battle of Bosworth Field and Richard III. Peckleton is a pretty small village 2 miles outside Desford, which has shops and facilities, and 1 mile from Kirkby Mallory, where there is a small village store. Our house is situated on the main road through the village.
**August-December 2020: Our neighbour has begun work rebuilding their home on their plot next door. Building work is taking place Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm. We haven't found the work particularly disruptive, but if you were hoping for a long weekday lie in then it may be best not to book with us during this time.**
