Summary: A truly peaceful and tranquil little slice of heaven! The property owner was wonderful with communicating everything with us and the breakfasts were an added treat. My husband and I were looking for a few days to just unwind and this was the perfect fit.

Summary: The loft was clean, cozy and equipped. The hosts were very nice and brought a great breakfast every morning! I thought the location was secluded but it wasn’t what I imagined. The road to get there is pretty rough and curvy- it takes 30 min to go 11 miles! Also, the neighbor, who is 20 yards from the loft, has a rooster that crows every morning at 7:30.

Summary: What makes this place special is its location right on the river. Note that you cannot see the river from the house itself. But it’s a short walk down to the dock, and the views from the dock are beautiful. You can bring your own canoe or kayak, like we did and set out on a journey from the dock. The lodging itself is pretty basic, it’s really just one room that has two beds and a small kitchenette. There is no stove and no oven, which makes cooking a meal rather difficult. This might not matter if there were lots of dining options nearby, but the closest restaurant is about a half an hour away. We made do with the hot plate that was provided. The host was very friendly and accommodating. If you choose to stay here, you might consider cooking your own meals in advance, and then heating them up in the microwave.

Summary: The loft was a nice property tucked in the mountains. The view of the lake is spectacular! The homemade breakfast delivered daily was delicious. The only downfall was the road leading to the loft.
