The Magnolia House, constructed in the early 1900's, has undergone an 8 month professional remodel. The main house supports 4 bedrooms, two of which are masters, and 3.5 total baths. A large "formal" living room, dining room, a party/game room, and large eat in kitchen with breakfast nook round out the main house. The large wraparound porch with a light blue painted tongue and groove ceiling, ceiling fans, and recessed lighting is the perfect place to relax with a drink after a day of exploring the Cumberland Gap area. Or, you may choose to build an outdoor fire in the fire pit with locally sourced rock benches. :).
In addition to the main house, there's an attached, but separate (with a separate entrance), "mother-in-law" suite with its own kitchen, living area, upstairs king master bedroom and bath, perfect for a couple. When booking, you get both the main house AND the mother-in-law suite, totaling 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths! Easily sleeping 10 or more. The house is perfect for large family gatherings, entertaining, cooking dinners, or simply relaxing. Come be our guests and enjoy The Magnolia House.

Summary: We had a great time staying at the Magnolia House! It was perfect for our family. There are so many bedrooms and bathrooms no one had to fight for a spot. We enjoyed walking in Cumberland Gap and seeing the cute shops. It's also not far from food, grocery stores, and gas stations. The owner was very accommodating. We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay!

Summary: The Magnolia house is a beautiful setup and fit our needs perfectly. Our family rented the Magnolia House for a family Thanksgiving and it was just perfect! Our host was very responsive and responded to any need or request promptly. The house was so spacious and inviting and beautifully designed with many areas for conversations while still being together. We played the board games every night and enjoyed the coffee provided! The front porch was perfect for family pictures too. The surrounding area had so many outdoor areas for us to enjoy with many within walking distance and our family will not forget this vacation.

Summary: We had a lovely stay in this renovated home! The "inlaw suite" out back is perfect for a couple who wants a bit of privacy. The house itself is adorable; the kitchen was stocked with unexpected goodies and it was obvious that the owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was ideal- walking distance to the Cumberland Mountain trail and to downtown... I would highly recommend this property!
