Positive: Very pleasant and helpful owner. Property very clean and kitchen well equipped. Very spacious.

Negative: 2 of the showers did not function properly. Owner called a plumber but there was only a trickle of water. The information re key safe and checking in sent by booking.com was illegible black font on black background. I had to read under a strong light.

Positive: Really well equipped kitchen. Very quiet location, with a lovely little front garden as well as the back courtyard. Spacious and homely.

Negative: The manufacturer instructions for the cooker were useless. We found the hob a challenge, and rings kept switching off. It might be useful to provide a simple one pager on how to use it. The water pressure in the 2 showers which aren’t power showers was very low and unusable at times. Maybe not a lot can be done, but it would make a real difference if it can.

Summary: Great value stay in a well equipped, homely house.

Negative: It would have been helpful to know in advance what the kitchen has in terms of appliances & basic supplies so that we could plan what to buy for catering purposes.

Positive: The front of the property looks exactly like the picture and what you would expect of the Cotswolds. The neighborhood is very quiet. The weather was a bit warm during out stay but we opened windows and that solved the problem with only a few flies. Each room had its own bathroom which was very nice. The study and dining room were very large. The washer has built in dryer which was very handy. Plenty of parking onsite.

Negative: When flushing a toilet we would occasionally get a sewer smell in certain rooms of the house. However this became less frequent toward the end of our 2-night stay so maybe the house hadn't been occupied for a while(?). The upper oven did not seem to get very hot but this could have been the result of user error.

Summary: Lovely Cotswold house in quiet neighborhood

Positive: Roomy, well stocked kitchen which made catering very easy. lovely spacious dining room, two comfortable living rooms. Table in courtyard at back. small coffee table in sunny front garden. All bedrooms en-suite plus family bathroom and downstairs loo in laundry. Lots of personal items - felt like a home. lovely village with good amenities. great cafe/restaurant parking for three cars quiet location

Negative: Understand why, but water pressure low in showers. also not sure the hot water tank thermostat was set high enough. Hot water didn’t seem hot enough. Apart from those little points everything good

Summary: Great house for family get together, easy to self cater and lovely dining room. Good location and lovely village.
