Summary: Generally good. A shame that parking overnight on site would have been £12. Sound insulation between rooms was poor as my room had a link door. Also breakfast could only be booked from 7:30 which is late on a weekday.

Summary: Stayed here as we were attending the Oasis gig in Cardiff. Friendly staff and although some parts of the hotel are a bit dated it is a beautiful hotel. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Summary: It is an amazing resort i will definitely book again. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. The rooms were very clean , the bed is comfortable but the pillows are not comfortable at all. The other thing is on arrival the staff doesn't give you enough information about breakfast and how to walk around the place.

Summary: We was quite pleased with our room at the Manor House and much better value for money. We had afternoon tea in the olive tree and the food was nice but considering it wasn’t busy the service wasn’t very good, it took a while before I was given water I had asked for and the Prosecco I was offered and accepted never arrived. We used facilities and although we enjoyed it was a shame the men’s changing rooms were out of order and the only alternative was for my husband to use the disabled toilet to change so I had to have his stuff in my locker. We had drinks in Merlin’s bar and then we ate dinner at the Pan restaurant and I must say the food and service was excellent and we will definitely return, I think our waiter who was Portuguese was called Jaon (I may have the spelling wrong) was very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable and he made our evening much more pleasant, so a shout out to him. We had one of the taster menus and although the food was lovely it was just too much for us (pictured what was left 🙈)

Summary: On the whole we enjoyed our stay. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom modern and immaculately clean. However the small armchair was very worn and needs replacing. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep. Our big disappointment was the service in the Merlin Bar. Although there were bar waiters there were insufficient for the size of the bar and number of people in it. We sat for some time waiting to be served. In the end my husband went to the bar himself but had to queue and waited some time to be served. However by the time we left there were about 15 people queuing at the bar. Not what we expected in a hotel of this quality

Summary: It was a spur of the moment decision as we were on our way home from a holiday and decided to see if we could stay for the weekend, so glad we did , we have had a fabulous time relaxing, everything was just great,we thoroughly enjoyed.
