Summary: This is a very special home and worked perfectly for our large group of friends and family. The kids loved the trampoline, and the adults loved kicking back on the patio and enjoying the sounds of the babbling brook. The house itself is beautiful, with a big gorgeous kitchen for cooking meals, and a sleeping layout that worked really well for us (2 bedrooms on bottom floor, then common spaces on 2nd, and 3 bedrooms on the top floor). We spent a lot of time at the cove and enjoying this beautiful corner of the world. It was such a treat to stay here, Simon was a wonderful host, and we hope to someday return. Can’t recommend The Mill enough!

Summary: Wow! The Mill was an absolutely stunning property and better than we could dream! Simon was fantastic, friendly and helpful and willing to answer all our questions. This was like a slice of Eden - modern comfort and design set in an old, beautiful building. We were in heaven! The kitchen was phenomenal and all the furniture and beds comfy. Walking down to the shoreline was stunning and so restorative - I can’t say enough positive things about this stay. Thank you, Simon, and thank you owners for a wonderful memory!

Summary: In some ways, I have no words regarding the wonderful experience and stay we had! Simon was a fantastic host prior to our arrival, during and end! A lovely welcome basket, personal suggestions on where to go and a grand tour of the house! The Mill exceeded our expectations! The historical aspect mixed with modern furnishing, it is truly a dream! Being able to see the ocean from my bedroom was insane! When we talk about our trip to Ireland, The Mill is brought up as a highlight of the trip!

Summary: I was initially concerned that the home was so large it might seem cold inside. It was not. Great use of space - beautifully decorated, and the owner was extremely helpful. It is a short and lovely drive to Kinsale. Don’t miss the short hike to the beach- it speaks to the soul.
