Positive: Very friendly staff and owner. Rooms are clean, quite, and have a tasteful moose theme. The restaurants serves great moose burgers, even the buns have a moose on them. (You get the moose drift :) ). We also appreciated that when their was a mix-up in the restaurant kitchen the meal was free and was delivered in a take-away box (we were a bit in a hurry because we had tickets to a show in Gander).
Negative: The bathroom door squeeks - a few drops of WD40 should do the trick.
Summary: Excellent value for the money, very friendly staff, liked the moose theme!

Positive: Seamless access to trail system which offers views of the river and historical monuments. I was glad they had Mooseburger on menu and had prompt service from April. Room was well appointed with more than what I usually get at Hampton Inns. Like I did not need to go to breakfast room to face rush.
Summary: Well situated next to trail and nature with well thought out room amenities and comfortable bed.

Positive: We arrived by motorcycle trying to beat a rain storm. Check-in was 4pm and everything was closed. We knocked on the door and the delightful Holly welcomed us hours early, including opening the restaurant for us. The room felt like it was brand new, the hospitality from Holly and her staff was outstanding.
Negative: Nothing to criticize
