Positive: The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient for our purpose of visit to the city.
Negative: The advertised terrace was closed and not accessible. There is absolutely no outside seating apart from the rooftop bar and some benches on the street level across the street. When the restaurant is open there are some seats on the little patio area but they are promptly removed when the restaurant is closed. When the front desk was asked about access to the terrace so we could just sit and enjoy the outdoors without the music blasting at the rooftop bar, we were told it's not accessible because it's a shared space with the Rigby and it's kept locked. This site as well as the hotels website advertised robes and a stocked mini bar...neither were available. On top of what I paid for the room for three nites, I was charged an additional $373. This hotel is not worth $1100 for three nites just because it's part of the Curio collection when they do not offer any of the amenities that even the standard Hilton offer. I spoke to the manager as I was checking out and he seemed to genuinely listen to my concerns and offered me points on my Hilton member account. I waited to make my review to see if he would honor his statement, and as he has not I have made my honest review. I shall not stay at the hotel again. We have always chosen Hilton or Hyatt when we travel...and after this I'm thinking we may not choose Hilton for a while.

Positive: The convenience of it being near the train station , union market , stores , and food places
Negative: The cleanliness of the hotel , the carpet was stained and dirty. Our tv didn’t work and we had to ask for assistance. The front desk staff wasn’t very professional. After speaking with someone over the phone she basically hung up in my face after the call without saying bye
Summary: It was an okay stay , I have stayed at better hotels for the price .

Niecy at the front desk provided outstanding service, going above and beyond to ensure our family had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Her attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference, especially when traveling with a toddler. The location is unbeatable – we loved having the farmers market just around the corner (Thursdays are perfect for fresh finds!) and Union Market only an eight-minute walk away with its incredible variety of dining options all under one roof. The convenience factor alone makes this hotel stand out. As frequent visitors to DC, we can confidently say The Morrow has earned the top spot on our list. The combination of exceptional value, outstanding service, and thoughtful amenities creates an experience that truly exceeds expectations.
