Gorgeous home on Caney Creek built in 2018! It doesn’t get much better than this- Right on the creek w/ no neighbors across from you or behind you! Home feels private with a huge lot and the Cornelius Ranch view across the creek. Newer home with newer furniture and furnishing! (Not your typical fish camp) Fully stocked home and lots of amenities that other homes do not furnish. Fish, crab or kayak right off our pier- A few minutes to Sargent Beach, or restaurants. Matagorda Bay & ICW just a few minutes by boat! This is a great place to visit anytime of the year! Huge front deck area 1/2 covered and walk around porch. Sit on the deck and watch the boats -great place to eat your meal or read a book. Lots of room to play corn hole, throw football, enjoy the swings under the house! It's so peaceful in the evenings no road noise, just fish splashing or frogs croaking. Can walk the neighborhood & there is a park and basketball goals right down the road. Dollar General is 5 minutes away if you forget anything -they probably got it! You won't want to leave and will want to come back! You get what you pay for and this house has so much -privacy is a plus, pure relaxation! Just bring your clothes, fishing /beach gear, and food! We have just about anything you could need! Try to make it easier on our guests…..pack less= less stress!!! More time to enjoy!! One of our repeat guest described it as Best of everything -a river house and just a few minutes to the beach too! And much more peaceful than most areas! :)

Summary: This home was hands down the best vacation spot my family have yet to experience! We felt like home away from home. I loved all the details from the owner; from all the lovely pots, extra essentials that were provided in case we forgot things, and the cleanliness of this home. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, fishing pier, and the beauty of the view while being inside. It shows that this owner knows how to treat their guest. We do appreciate how things were laid out for us for our 5 day stay so much we are thinking about booking it again.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend at The Nauti Seagull. We took our family and some friends and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, collecting shells, etc. The house is very nice and is decorated very nicely. It was well stocked with all the essentials needed for our 4 night stay. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Summary: This place was the perfect getaway to unwind, regroup and live life at a slower pace. The house with stocked with everything one needs and then some. The host was wonderful and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house has its own personal pier which made perfect for early morning fishing. But, the icing on the cake was the sweet ol' dog nextdoor, Archie. He was the best highlight of our fishing trip. I even got a bit teary eyed having to say goodbye. I highly recommend this place. Its definitely one we'll revisit again. to respond to any questions we hadto

Summary: We had a great time! Very clean! It was me, my husband, our two boys, and another family with 2 kids as well. Being able to fish right there was great! Also nice to be able to park the boat at the dock. Owner was great to communicate with and provided all the necessities to make the trip a little easier! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Summary: The home is beautiful and well equipped. Even though we weren’t successful catching fish we really enjoyed sitting on the dock trying to lure them in! I highly recommend this property if you want a relaxing vacation on the water.

Summary: The owner Tammy was so helpful, informative and thoughtful!. She even did something special for us, as we were celebrating our 40th anniversary. The house is new, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with a beach vibe. Beautiful view from deck and pier, where we spent most of our time. Fishing and crabbing (2 traps provided) were great fun. We caught 5 blue crab that were of keeping size (5" wide from point to point) which are so beautiful and it was plenty for a meal for two. It was a first time for us and they were delicious! Be sure to take your own shell crackers. Caught lots of black drum, perch and gafftop with frozen shrimp from Joeys Bait Shop, raw bacon and live worms, but the one that got away was a large 12"-15" flounder! Caught him on the end of the pier on the right with a gold slab lure. Unfortunately we didn't pick a good time to catch redfish. We loved eating at the Crab Trap down the road. The beach is only a few minutes drive. Its not the prettiest but it has the most sea shells I've ever seen! It was a wonderful time! Loved every minute!
