Positive: The location in the Bronx.

Negative: The safety of the inside of the Nest. It was very creepy and I had a horrible experience with a man opening a door that was inside of the apartment, coming in on me a single female.

Summary: Extremely uncomfortable due to a couple of doors being inside of the apartment.

Positive: Quiet, clean, comfortable and practical.

Negative: The unit was advertised as having washer and dryer in the unit and this was one of the main reasons why I picked it. Upon arrival I noticed there wasn't a washer/dryer. I texted the host to ask about it and I was told there was none.

Positive: It was a clean, cozy furnished, self-check-in, basement apartment. The access code should provide earlier prior arrival, not I asked for it. Also need to provide entrance direction as another family was upstairs access front entrance. The kitchen was well equipped. We could cook simple dinner with no problem. Suggest parking on the street not on the driveway and walkway to back entrance.

Negative: Wash machine and dryer were out of order but they were one of the important point I chose this apartment. It was frustrated. Also sometimes the noises came from upstairs.

Positive: Wonderful accommodations and excellent location! The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and very nice quality pillows. The amenities in the kitchen and bathroom were fantastic too. We will stay here again the next time we are visiting NYC.

Negative: Everything was great but I was confused about which door to go to get into the apartment. I needed to call for instructions and the hosts were very kind and helpful. It might be good to write the directions to the correct door in the instructions about the lockbox. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!
