Positive: Lovely, characterful small hotel. Wonderful food (best shepherd's pie I have ever tasted). Very dog friendly. Super staff.

Negative: The only small downside is there's nowhere really close at hand and easy to get to to walk your dog. Up a steep little road there's a public footpath in a field...but it was full of sheep...

Positive: Gorgeous rooms, fantastic pub and the friendliest staff. The pub is super dog-friendly and the people went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was great. The setting is lovely and we appreciated the recommended walks.
