Positive: Lovely old building. Very popular with locals be sure to book for dinner. Handy for Gatwick airport and airport parking lots.

Negative: Room took ages to warm up. A member of 'the team' tried to help as the radiator needed bleeding but he did not have a key (or the knowhow I suspect). It was the middle of the night when it eventually became hot, too hot and we had to turn it down. No easy chairs in the room. This is a common, major shortcoming in hotels and I have a thing about it. Sometimes you get one comfy chair, but in a double room surely you need two. There was only a dressing table type chair. Rooms directly overlook the pub garden so could be noisy in summer. Very expensive drinks especially a bottle of wine.
