Positive: The Old Post Office is a beautiful old property in a great location at the heart of Ampleforth. It’s a very large house with plenty of space and is well equipped with everything you need. Considering the size of the property it was very warm and cosy and a very comfortable stay.

Positive: Absolutely fabulous place. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s far more spacious than it looks. It has a lovely rustic feel, really tasteful decor, great open plan kitchen area & an additional annexe with a separate kitchen & bedroom. The local area is stunning. Perfect for countryside walks & 2 lovely village pubs, plus a fabulous cafe opposite that does amazing coffee & home made cakes. We had a wonderful family New Year’s gathering.
Negative: We loved everything about it!
