Summary: Beautiful house and garden. Imogen and Terry were very welcoming. Continental breakfast was excellent and I ate too much. Lovely big bathtub too.

Summary: This was a wonderful house to stay in, it worked especially for us just wanting the one night, with a bath and allowing dogs! So it ticked all the boxes for us. The bedroom is huge with an en-suite bath and shower room next door. Imogen and Terry were the perfect hosts and breakfast was enough to feed many more than just the two of us!

Summary: We were immediately greeted by Imogen, the owner, and Basil, the resident hound. It transpired that Imogen's hubby, Terry, was in hospital so we didn't get to meet him. However, Imogen, a warm and friendly person, made us so very welcome. Our dog Fleur and Basil the host dog, became friends and spent a lot of time playing together in the house and outside in the extensive grounds. Our room was spacious and the bed sooo comfortable. Breakfast was croissants, rolls, cheeses and ham and a choice of conserves which were the best! Orange juice, tea and coffee were plentiful. Imogen, despite coping on her own, was The perfect host and we felt we were staying at a friend's house.We really needed this break and it was really worth the journey from Essex.
