Positive: Clean, spacious and near to Bamburgh etc Very nice to have tea, coffee, milk and biscuits left for us on arrival.

Negative: Would have been helpful to know there are no shops/ restaurants within walking distance.

Summary: We had a very nice few days exploring the local area.

Positive: It was an excellent location, clean and good facilities.

Negative: One of the showers didn’t work properly, the shower head was blocked so it trickled out. The upstairs bathrooms both had their plugs removed so we couldn’t fill the sink. The outside sensor lights didn’t work so coming back in the evenings was a bit dangerous in the dark. The washing machine was also broken, the buttons were pushed right in so we couldn’t use it. The shelf in the downstairs toilet was also loose.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay and the location was great.

Positive: Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Really too warm on arrival: thermostat set to 23C. Very comfortable beds. All bedrooms ensuite.

Negative: Dishwasher didn't clean very well. We cleaned the filter and that helped. No recycling bin / guidance. Kitchen sink very slow to drain - needs attention. Intermittent leak of clean water from fridge/freezer - I think associated with the ice-marker.

Positive: The Old Stables is a modern, comfortable 2 storey accommodation. Well laid out and spotless. Comfortable beds with quality bed linen. I was there with my niece and my dog as a last minute booking. We liked having our own en suite bathroom. Great big TV screens in living area Much appreciated as niece brought her Firestick for streaming. Wifi was great! No hesitation in recommending.
