Positive: I needed a little place to stay whilst I was in town visiting family. This was a much nicer option than a motel room near by. Very well equipped and was ideal for my week away. The hosts were very friendly and communication was very easy. Very impressed and would stay again.

Positive: Lovely place - perfect for a couple. The owners had clearly put a lot of thought and care into the conversion of this property. Beautifully presented with everything you need for a short stay. Parking space next to the property, which is located behind the owner's home. Small veranda with comfy outdoor seating. Nice big bed. Clean and modern bathroom and kitchenette. Tea, coffee plus some cereals and biscuits were supplied. Great location. Whakatane is a lovely town with nice promenades along the sea front.
Negative: No proper dining table - but there is a "breakfast bar" with stools, and not really space for a bigger table. Further to walk into town than we expected, but the town has various eating places, shops, etc and everything is easy to get to. There are plenty of places to park in the town.

Positive: Very cute little shed, in a great location for us, with everything you could need. Nice to have cereal for breakfast and chocolate biscuits as a bonus. Spotlessly clean, quality linens and well set out for a small space. On-site parking was easy too.
