Welcome to our Ottawa Escape! This beautifully remodeled home sleeps 6, and includes a king bed, two twin beds, and a sofa sleeper. Enjoy your morning coffee at our breakfast nook in the kitchen or outside on the front porch. The backyard offers ample space for the kids to play or your dog to roam. Enjoy movies on the 55 inch Roku TV or playing a game of giant Jenga. There is a washer/ dryer available for use as well.
This house is cozy and comfortable, being roughly 850 square feet total. It offers a full-sized kitchen, with everything needed to cook a family dinner. Beautifully remodeled bathroom with a bathtub for soaking. We offer a king size bed and two twin beds with ample storage for clothes and a dedicated work space for traveling workers. In the living room we offer a queen sized pull out couch with a 55 inch TV and plenty of games for the kids.

Although we are pet friendly, we do require a one time pet fee of $85.
We love sharing our home with all our guests. However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage we will only accept booking requests from:
-- Renters who are above the age of 25.
--Renters who will be staying during the reservation and are not booking for someone else.
--Renters who have less than 5 star reviews.
****Please park on our side of the driveway closest to the house. Please be careful of the telephone pole that splits ours and our neighbors driveway when pulling in and backing up.****

Summary: The house was exactly as describe. Has a nice living room/dining area. There was a great welcome basket with keurig coffee, cream and oatmeal. It was a great retreat after our hikes at the state parks. The town of Ottawa was also really enjoyable. We were grateful to be able to bring our two small dogs.

Summary: We were waiting on closing on our new house and this place was just what we needed! Calm, quiet and safe. Everything was clean as a whistle. They have a vacuum and broom which a lot of places don't and I get why but if we're there for a long time we need to clean up after ourselves. That was a big plus for me! Laundry room was the best and everything is so close! They even have cute little markets to shop at in town. We will definitely book again when we visit! leaveabrovacuum

Summary: This was our second visit to this property, and it's really perfect for our family! Walking distance to basketball court for my teen boys, a short drive to downtown for dinner, and close enough to state parks for hiking. I love that the kitchen has what we need to cook simple meals, and the Keurig coffee supply is greatly appreciated! Oh, and when it rained, we played board games supplied by the owners and found a small bowling alley downtown. All in all, a great getaway!

Summary: We were in town for a family reunion and booked a stay here. It was very clean like other reviews said (and I’m very picky). The beds were comfortable, spacious living room, and loved being able to bring our small dog. It also seemed to be a quiet and safe neighborhood. Pictures and description were also very accurate. My husband joined me along with his grandmother and his mother so there were 3 women. Being women we noticed the place lacked mirrors. The only mirror was in the bathroom. We knew there was only 1 bathroom when booking and that was fine but a mirror in both bedrooms would be helpful for 1 to check their appearance and do their hair or makeup while others were in the bathroom. We also cooked a few items in the kitchen and had everything we needed other than a large mixing bowl. That might be something to add to the kitchen. Thanks for a nice, clean, and quiet stay! If we visit Ottawa again we would love to stay again.

Summary: The home is as it appears in the pictures. It was clean, the kitchen had enough supplies for what my needs were. Additional items like laundry soap, garbage bags, paper towels etc were provided (I have been in some rentals that do not provide). With two small children, I appreciated the plastic plates and utensils for them. Matt was in communication with me through out the stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: we loved our stay here, the house is beautiful and just as it looked in the pictures! the beds were so comfortable! we enjoyed having a k cup and regular coffee pot to choose form and all the needed supplies. we spent a lot of time in the back yard at the patio table that was perfect for the full family and the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful, we hardly heard any neighbors. early mornings we enjoyed drinking our coffee here and watching the squirrels play! the location is so close to downtown, we were with in 5-10 minutes of anywhere we needed to go! the Hosts were very responsive when we got there and had to send a late night message to find out the trick to the couch bed, it really is a tight fit, also as described in the listing. lol the air conditioning in this house is so good and cold we actually had to turn the thermostat up a little, and the host even had picture instructions for how to do that! this house was everything we wanted and needed for our stay and we will definitely book again on our next visit!
