Positive: The view, the staff, the privacy of house. But the staff were phenomenal.

Negative: One issue we had was the pool. Some other guests had a couple of very large inflatables which took up a large portion of the pool. It made it impossible for others to swim in the pool.

Positive: We had a 'room tent' right by the Indian ocean and our view was spectacular. We slept like babies with the sound of waves sending us to sleep. The room was clean and the staff were always happy to help.

Negative: We felt trapped because there is only one choice of restaurant with everything being over priced compared to many other hotels in Tanzania. Most of Tanzanian food were missing on the menu as well. The drinks were over priced too, local beers are usually the cheapest in Tanzania sold between 2,500-8000 Tshs but The overhung price was 10,800 Tshs with everything else sold way above that price and the unfortunate thing was that there is absolutely nothing around the hotel, there are no shops or supermarkets to buy anything. The hotel is all by itself in the middle of the woods near wildlife. There was no any entertainment or laundry services. I didn't have any kids with me but I didn't see anything for the children for those with families and getting there was a nightmare as it rained and the roads were horrible. We had to check out before our due date to another hotel. The manager Thomas was kind enough to arrange a refund for 1 night. We lost 1 night but it's ok as we couldn't stay for any more nights. Unfortunately this place was not for us....😥

Positive: This place is worth every penny! We enjoyed every moment, and it felt like we were on a private island. We really appreciated all the effort Mr. Thomas, the manager, put in to make sure our stay was perfect! And Phoebe, responsible for guest experience, for planning and making sure everything went smoothly and comfortably for us. Highly recommended for people who care about quality in every aspect. And dont want to forget to thank David the driver for being very keen to take us everywhere. And vinoth the F&B manager for taking care of the food quality!

Positive: Spectacular location with fantastic views from the houses. The private beaches are huge, one wild and one sheltered, they were both totally deserted during our stay. Its quite issolated so you really aren't going anywhere if you stay there, which was not a problem for us. Excellent food. Shortish menu if you stay for a week but otherwise fine. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the whole place felt very safe.

Negative: A few small points about the place but nothing really. The website needs updating because it says there is a walk and a yoga teacher but neither are available. The only big point is that the full/half board offer felt odd since there really is nowhere else to eat and we didn't really understand what was included in the package. In the end if felt like the offer didn't represent a good deal for us, but I can't prove it, so what was the pont of making a large upfornt payment for all food and drink?

Summary: Very relaxing stay in an incredible location, not to be missed!

Positive: The amazing view of the sea. The two lovely secluded beaches. The attentive staff.

Negative: The bathroom with wet room type shower was old and shabby. We didn't like the floor constantly being wet. Our house could have been the only like that though.

Positive: The food was good but a bit pricey. Location was great(minus the road getting there) along with the staff and facilities.

Negative: 2 things that took away from a really good experience was the road going to the resort. There was large amounts of sand which caused my vehicle to become stuck. This, and the booking between Booking.com and the resort. I had to change rooms because your booking systems were not compatible.
