Summary: We were in room 220. It must’ve been close to the kitchen or something. It was quite loud. We would’ve liked to have had a bar of soap. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large and spacious. All in all it was a great stay and we would stay there again.

Summary: The trip was okay, but we will stay elsewhere next time. I wouldn't consider the room to be truly updated. The shower handle wasn't connected to the wall, the bathroom door handle kept falling off, floor was still uneven (normally they fix things like that during a renovation). Door knobs falling off aren't due to historical charm. I had to ask the front desk for a bill three times before they emailed it to me. We ate at the hotel several times. Breakfast was our favorite meal. My husband's dinner was good, but my seafood risotto was gritty/sandy. The rooftop bar is the reason we booked this hotel. It was closed for renovations. We weren't notified of this nor was it on their website. For the price and what we arrived to, we wouldn't stay here again. On a positive, the staff was nice and the restaurant porch is pretty.
