With stunning mountain views, this gorgeous country property is just a short drive to Pokolbin, Mount View, Lovedale and Wollombi’s tourist regions. The 27 acre farmlet is the perfect environment to soak up the quiet country atmosphere, to watch the native birds and kangaroos at play, and to breathe in the fresh country air.
With wide verandahs to enjoy the breathtaking vistas, the country style home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, timber kitchen with walk-in pantry and granite tops, timber floors throughout and combustion fire for cosy winter evenings.
Just a short drive from the village of Millfield and 15 minutes from Cessnock’s CBD, it is close enough to experience all that the Hunter Valley has to offer while still offering a quiet space to come home and enjoy your chosen bottle of wine with some of the beautiful local produce.
Note: Coopers Run is a rural property which means beautiful views, wildlife and lost of space to enjoy the fresh air. However, it also means that phone reception is a little variable (Telstra is best) and internet speed is not suitable for streaming. We hope our guests are coming to enjoy rural life!

Summary: We had great time, regretting staying only 2 nights. Kids enjoyed the swing and company of the kangaroos. Wery relaxing. Recommended! The only small downside- coffee machine was dirty. Looked like someone forgot to dispose the milk and we found home made cheese in it .

Summary: What a great little spot, in what felt like the middle of nowhere. Still, only fifteen minutes to Cessnock for supplies. There's WiFi but it's NBN satellite? and runs ok so long as you aren't downloading or streaming all the time. Keep that in mind if you're used to city internet :)

Summary: The photos on the web site don’t do this little spot justice. It was so much better than we expected! My 1 year old had me up at 4am on fathers day so we went outside (so as not to wake the rest of the house) and had a lovely time with the kangaroos, Mum duck and the 16 chicks as well as all the birds waking up. Amazing memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. Highly recommend this immaculately presented property. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Summary: My friends and I had the most relaxing, peaceful time at Millfield. The location is close enough for a day trip to Pokolbin but far away enough that you feel like you’re away from the crowds. The fireplace set a cozy scene and we had everything we needed. Plenty of games for when families stay and a beautiful open space to run around. Great for couples, families or a group of friends. There were a few issues minor issues but the owner was grateful for the feedback so she can ensure future guests will have an even more comfortable stay. We would love to go back!

Summary: Beautiful property close enough to town . Lovely and large enough accomodate 7 Adults. Rural setting with a veranda to enjoy the peaceful surroundings watching the kangaroos and bird life. The amenities were clean and modern. The owner thought about everything to make your stay fun and easy . There were games to play and a spa to relax in. The amenities in the kitchen were great even a coffee pod machine. Just a note if you are going to use all rooms with Adults there are three larger rooms and one small room which does just fit a queen bed in . Might have to toss a coin as to who wants that room. 🙄😊 The owner was very accommodating with our requests and very easy to communicate with. Checking in was a breeze. Will definitely use again.
