The Wild Sky Ranch sits on a 6 acre property on the Skykomish River, in Index, Washington.
Once a Llama Farm, it has been lovingly remodeled to include three rustic cabins and a small conference center . The property also has a volleyball/badminton court, a pickleball court, a slack line, a lookout with a barbeque, and multiple firepits. This property would be wonderful to host a small group/families for a memorable weekend. Sleeps 10 comfortably but can accommodate more if required. (Can discuss with owners.)
We can help arrange river rafting and/or fly fishing for our guests, if requested.
There are no restaurant services on the property- all food and meals should be supplied by the guests.

Summary: I stayed two nights in the adorable Serenity cabin RIGHT ON the Skykomish River. The cabin has been beautifully redone with keeping with the historic feel of the property. Fully functional kitchen (note: smaller fridge), with ample in-kitchen seating. The bedroom is comfortably furnished and bathroom nicely updated. Everything about the cabin was comfortable and cozy. But the real gem here is the location, right on the river!! The sound alone of the rushing river is pure tranquility with your own beach steps from the front door. Lodie and Dave were perfect hosts and great to work with. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.

Summary: I hosted a group of friends for a very casual bachelor weekend at end of August. We had a fantastic time at this awesome property. We did all of our cooking for 10 at the outdoor grill and fire pit, with plenty of seating at the outdoor tables. There is plenty of room for outdoor games and activities. The cabins are comfortable and very beautiful, with beach and river access right in front of the lower buildings. Index town and the nearby brewery/distillery are walkable. We floated the river on tubes and exited right at the property, walking straight into our cabins to clean up. We had a great time and loved the property.

The owners were completely reasonable and worked with us to make sure everything was ready - which as really appreciated. Our guests loved the location and we had many comments about how this was "the best location for a wedding!" It isn't just the best for weddings, though; it is a great location for any gathering. First off, the view from the property is phenomenal with the river in the foreground and the mountains in the background. You can just sit on the rivers edge and stare out for a long time. Next, the character of the cabins and conference center made you feel really comfortable. From the board and lawn games available, to the many blankets for colder nights, to the outdoor grill and seating, to the rustic feel - all the details helped one relax while there. I highly recommend this property! The owners have really transformed this quiet area in Index to a beautiful and relaxing gathering spot perfect for making long-lasting memories! I am quite confident that my weekend would not have been as amazing if I had stayed somewhere else.
