Positive: Location was really convenient for access to the busy Reading area but was peaceful and secluded. Well thought out apartment, very comfortable and sufficient food to enjoy a light breakfast.
Negative: The hosts couldn’t change this due to the nature of the property but there are areas of limited head room as it is a loft conversion and the bathroom is downstairs. We didn’t find this a problem but someone with limited mobility would need to think about this.
Summary: Very comfortable and happy to recommend.

Positive: Excellent hosts- they left a lovely welcome pack. Bed was very comfortable with duck down duvet and pillows. The hosts have clearly made some changes since previous reviews because the apartment was lovely and warm throughout. I also appreciated that there was cooking oil, herbs, salt and pepper in the cupboard, as well as a good variety of coffees, hot chocolate and teas I will definitely return.

Positive: The host was lovely, the property had gorgeous views outside and was exceptionally comfortable inside, there were plenty of pubs/restaurants nearby, and we were able to park right outside the property.
Negative: There wasn't anything we disliked about the property
Summary: Gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and convenient location for where we needed to be the next day.

Positive: I would recommend The Pheasantry. The hosts were both welcoming and helpful. The space is separate from the main house and self contained. The shower room and toilet are downstairs and a large living room, kitchen and bedroom open plan area are upstairs. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the room was quiet with just bird song as background sounds. It was a great location for us.
Negative: We needed a bit of help from the hosts in finding the place as the internet was down.

Positive: Well presented and decorated apartment. Basic supplies provided such as full fat milk, cereal, wholemeal bread, butter, variety of teas and coffee. Apartment has a fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave and all the necessary utensils. It's located in a lovely countryside setting and is very quiet. Also several pubs that sell good beer and food within 10 min drive.
Negative: Connecting to Wifi took a while to work out, but once connected was ok although not as fast as I'm used to.
Summary: Lovely stay in an ideal and peaceful location.

Positive: The apartment was very well stocked with appliances. There was cereal, bread and milk. It was warm and the bed comfortable.
Negative: On the first night there seemed to be rats above in the loft/eaves moving about all the time. The shower was a nightmare. The tooth mug was filthy. The fridge looked clean but on further inspection was not.
