Summary: It was very average. There was lots of dog pee in the outdoor hallways getting to the room. The main restaurant was closed so they set up a very mediocre breakfast. It was cold at 7 AM when it opened. Has to pay $10 for parking. The view from the room was nice. Won’t race back.

Summary: The room was spacious but had a musty smell like that of a thrift store. Paid for an ocean view which was disappointing. If I stood at the window and looked to the side, I could technically see the ocean, it was a partial view. I would not have paid extra if I had known it was only a partial view. I had a better view of the freeway than I did the ocean. It was also pretty loud. So much so that they offer ear plugs at check-in. The lady at check-in was nice. The employee at breakfast was not. Without saying a word, she began closing the doors to signal for people to leave. I had to say that I had to get my water bottle that was still there. I found that to be unprofessional. She could have let guests know that breakfast was over and to gather their belongings instead of just shutting the doors.

Summary: Room was clean and spacious and there was plenty of vehicle parking. Breakfast was on the lighter end. Seems like there’s construction going on for their restaurant area.

Summary: We stayed in one of the Vintage King rooms and loved the fireplace, the ocean view, the balcony, the comfortable bed and huge tv. Had a great swim in the pool and lovely walk on the beach five minutes walk away. The Pierpont is a bit faded in its glory, a tiny bit down at heel, but a great price for all the charming amenities. Place looks like it has been "under construction" for quite a long time without making progress as yet. We definitely hope when renovations are done they will have retained the vintage charm and amenities (fireplace!!! vintage tile and brick, etc) of the rooms. Staff was awesome, very helpful. Could have been a bit cleaner. Husband enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

Summary: I am sure that back in the day this was a wonderful spot. While the room was spacious and clean it was devoid of any charm or character. Breakfast location ways a hike, so skipped. The original area is dilapidated and promises on a big banner a renovation a few years out of date. There is ample parking, but you must PAY for it, ridiculous. Quiet.

Summary: Beautiful property in a great location near the beach. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the breakfast was not very fresh. We threw away most of what we put on our plate. Seemed the food may have been prepared very early and kept in warmers for some time.

Summary: The breakfast was terrible but the setting was nice. The room was clean but noisy due to the conjoined room lay out where a hollow door is all that separated us from the neighborhood who had kids. There was no smart tv only had spectrum cable with one HBO channel.
