Come, make this lovingly restored 100-year-old craftsman cottage your personal retreat as you experience all our coastal community has to offer. Located on a quiet side street, this sizeable one bedroom, one bathroom has convenient on-site parking with an EV charging station, but once you unload your bags, you might find your car doesn't move for a while. Our well equipped kitchen has new, state of the art, stainless appliances, all the tools you'll need to make an amazing meal, and a sweet kitchen nook enlivened by artistic renderings of local street scenes, but if you'd rather someone else do the cooking, a less than five minute walk will put you right in the middle of pedestrian friendly downtown Main Street where you can meander the shops and choose from independent craft houses, hand tossed pizzas, succulent seafood, or tapas and beer. If you don't want to go that far, head the other direction and just steps from your front door you'll find long time local favorites Corrales Mexican or Spencer McKenzie's seafood. Once you make your way back to the cottage, sink into the cozy welcome of the soothing blues and greys of the living room, stream your favorite series or settle in to watch an old classic from several streaming services. If you're feeling competitive, grab a boardgame ... winner gets the first glass of wine. Wash away your day in the glass enclosed shower, plush towels waiting, then sink into the comfy queen bed, complete with indulgently soft linens, and drift into dreams. When the sun comes up, pick your favorite flavor from our Keurig pods, or tasty teas, and enjoy a cup on the front porch while you plot your day. So much to choose from and we've made it so easy. Summary: Perfect for two people and the location in a cozy, quiet neighborhood. Parking was nice and easy. The unit is walking distance to so many places. The bed is firm so great for back sleepers. The backyard space was nice and the place was clean. Great communication with the host and an easy check in. We really appreciated the fully stocked full kitchen which made cooking breakfast and making coffee or tea a breeze. I definitely recommend and would go back if I’m ever in the area!

Summary: Location - Quick access from freeway; 5 minute walk to the ocean/pier, or downtown; several restaurants within a block; very quiet neighborhood - no sounds of traffic or other noise at nightThe house - Impressively clean inside/out; can't think of an amenity the house didn't have - W/D combo definitely was a bonus; comfortable bed; private fenced backyardOverall, this stay far exceeded my expectations. Super bummed to have to leave but hope to visit again!

Summary: This is our second time renting this property and it has been wonderful both times! Great location for us to travel up to Santa Barbara or just explore Main Street. One of the few rentals we have had that had what we needed to cook a full meal!

Summary: This was a great home base for exploring the area for 3 days before a professional conference in LA. Everything seemed new, very clean and was so comfortable. The location was convenient to everything. Our standards are pretty high and we were not let down! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Summary: Easy walk to the Pier, Entertainment, Restaurants, Shopping, and theater. Thoroughly enjoyed a show at the Rubicon. Lures Seafood was outstanding, as well as Eric Ericsson's on the Pier. Excellent breweries, especially Leashless Brewing (excellent live music).

Summary: Perfect location, between the pier/beach/boardwalk and downtown - one to two blocks! Clean, quaint home for a long weekend that included taking the ferry over to the Channel Islands NP. We used neither the kitchen or rear patio since the fun of the home's proximity to downtown is to enjoy eating/drinking out. We found the beach cruisers not really usable so we rented geared bikes and rode up to Ojai for lunch. We loved this home for its clean, comfortable vibe and location and would absolutely return for more weekend fun.
