Positive: Our stay at this resort was absolutely delightful and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The resort is beautifully maintained, with lush surroundings and a serene ambiance that instantly makes you feel relaxed and refreshed. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, and equipped with all modern amenities, ensuring complete comfort throughout our stay. The food deserves a special mention – We being Vegetarian - Renjit ( Owner) ensured we have sufficient items in the menu everytime and it was delicious. The quality and flavors reflected great care and attention to detail. What truly sets this resort apart is the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our holiday was special, comfortable, and stress‑free. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing vacation. Trekking to Phantom Hill was truly memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and created some wonderful memories. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious holiday experience. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!

Negative: Due to ongoing crisis with Gas Cylinders - We had limited menu for the breakfast. Which is anyways not in our control.

Positive: The location was right in the lap of hills. From our balcony we could view the sunrise. It was like staying in tea plantation. The staff were very cordial and hospitable. There was not much option for food but the quality was good.

Negative: Only downside of this property was the road that led to it. It was 3km of complete off-roading experience. And if someone is looking for variety of food options, that’s not available. Hence, these 2 are only couple of limitations. Otherwise, great stay, awesome location and wonderful staff.

Summary: Great stay. I would love to come back and stay here again.

Positive: We had a family stay at The Planet Munnar Resort, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and hygienic. We reached the resort around 2 PM, and at 4 PM we went on a guided 3 km up-and-down trek to a hillside. The guide was excellent, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Later, at 7:30 PM, the campfire started — it was such a fun and relaxing experience. Early morning at 4 AM, there's an off-road jeep safari to witness the sunrise, and the view was stunning. Both the dinner and the morning breakfast were delicious(breakfast was included on the package). The resort also has a hygienic swimming pool and a well-maintained kids’ play area, which makes it perfect for families. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I would highly recommend The Planet Munnar Resort to anyone visiting Munnar. Room tariff starting from INR 6200, Breakfast included and luch and dinner available with affordable price.

Positive: Our stay at THE PLANET was exceptional.. We reached the property at night and in the morning we woke up with an amazing view of luscious tea plantation .. Staffs were friendly. They have arranged jeep for kollukkumalai sunrise .The total cost for kollukkumalai jeep safari is INR 3500.00 ..However we (me n my husband) paid only INR 1400 as we shared with other guests (Total of 5 )..They also guided us to the nearby sights like 1800 m zipline , 600 m zipline and Elephant Abode dam.. They have also arranged evening trekking to phantom hills to view sunset which is complimentary Food was delicious and worth the money ...We as a couple spend only INR 900 for each meal (lunch /dinner , breakfast is complimentary).. If you want an escape from the city life and indulge yourself in the tranquility of nature , this property is definitely recommended
