Positive: It was very quaint in a great location for Cotswold villages like bourton on the water and stow on the wold, bed was very comfy , and breakfast was included in the price.
Negative: There was no where to hang clothes but we were only there one night so was not an issue

Positive: It was in a very small village that was close to larger locations that we wanted to visit. The water pressure in the shower was very strong! Ovi the owner accommodated our request to have an early breakfast in our last day.

Positive: The location is good to Bourton-on-the-Water in a tiny village about 5 minutes away by car. The room itself was nicely remodeled. It was small but quaint...plaster and wooden beams, cute little windows, surprisingly large bathroom. The host was nice and breakfast was in the pub on the main floor (it was delicious). At that time (July 2025) the pub was only open on the weekends. We stayed during the week and the village and building were very quiet.
Negative: The listing says there is private parking...there is only street parking (though it is a quiet village). The mattress needs updating. It was lumpy and the covers were the wrong size (too small). The room needed a fan accessible in the hot weather.
Summary: Convenient and quiet. Cute little room, good breakfast, nice host. New mattress would be good.

Positive: Clean and tidy rooms, on the small side though. Breakfast offered a good menu. Staff were friendly and location was in a small village off the beaten track.
Negative: We was hoping for an early start, but breakfast is only served between 9 to 10am, which we were unaware of. Also we had to go out in the evening for food as the bar only opens Friday -Sunday. Rooms were quite warm even with windows open.
Summary: Nice but check food times.

Negative: I have never stayed in such a large bedroom or enjoyed such a large bathroom. But maybe add a cupboard in which to hang up some clothes. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Positive: Really charming little stay, we loved it’s quietness and lovely feel , it was the relaxing getaway we needed . Totally recommend. The staff were amazing and so was the breakfast.
Negative: Only thing I would say is maybe having food in evening , that’s only thing we found slightly annoying was having to go out for food, but it’s definitely not to bad a negative as we would 100 percent stay again.
