Summary: Nice area and conveniently located near Shenandoah National Park. The downstairs apartment was very clean and quiet except for the footsteps we heard past midnight every night (which didn’t really bother us because we are night owls). We had everything we needed for preparing meals, but we did struggle a little bit with the mini fridge and used coolers as back up. Overall, a nice place to stay and we would definitely consider staying there again if we are back in the area.

Summary: Overall I am pleased with my stay. The location was very close to the airport and convenient to Charlottesville and the Shenandoah National Forest. Space was ample for one person or a couple. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and necessities. Lots of clean towels and linens. It is a basement apartment so it is damp and musty which is to be expected in a basement. The footsteps overhead are quite loud but otherwise it is a quiet location. Stairs outside are a little steep and it is not wheelchair accessible.

Summary: Our staybwas great. I stayed for 2 days with my husband and 4 year old daughter, the apartment included everything we needed and it was very clean. We really enjoyed staying there and felt like home. Thank you very much!

Summary: John & Maria's "pond house" basement apartment was just what I needed for a couple of days' quiet work, including a one-day conference just down the road at the University. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Great accomodations for 2 people with the spacious open concept floor plan. Will definitely book again as the price and location were great for us. As per other reviews, we heard footsteps a couple of times, but nothing that annoyed us. In fact, we let out a cheer watching the hockey game which they definitely heard, and realizing how loud we were, went into quiet mode the rest of the stay. Super friendly hosts.
