Positive: I never write reviews unless, it’s something above and beyond. This is a small slice of heaven, and I guess I was the lucky one to have the opportunity to stay for 4 nights. The location is really central to the town and all amenities. It has everything you will need for a relaxing stay.
Negative: Absolutely nothing at all.

Positive: We liked everything about the property. This was our 2nd stay here, for 9 days over Christmas 2024. Yes. It is very small..., but every facility possible, and all amenities you will ever need are available here. We left a review about the property after our our last visit in February 2024, and we stand by every word of that. (look it up if you have time) Brilliantly convenient for all the attractions Barnard Castle has to offer, and just 500yds from the middle of the Front Street. That said, it is still lovely and peaceful in it's own way. In this review, I must also mention the amazing extraction hood fitted in to the ceiling above the cooking facilities. I know it sounds like an odd thing to mention, but it's a work of art, and super cool lighting effect to boot..!! Ingenious, but the whole place is, and we have never seen such overall clever use of space in any other BDC or Air B&B we have ever stayed in. Host Belinda, always responds to messages and queries very promptly, however small. As a couple, we will definitely return for a 3rd visit, hopefully sometime soon. Simply Fantastic. Give it a go.. You won't be disappointed..

Positive: Well decorated and equipped cottage. Location excellent. Car pass well compensates for lack of parking at the property. Short walk to the main street and Bowes Museum.
Negative: Bedroom is small but adequate.

Positive: The cottage is lovely and just off the main high street. There’s no parking in front of the cottage however a parking permit is provided for a car park less than 5 minutes walk away. We had a comfortable stay with everything we needed. The cottage was clean and warm.
