Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was good and the house was very spacious with all the facilities needed and a fully equipped kitchen. The host was great and got any issues sorted for us which was nice. There was a closed in garden which was useful for the kids.

Negative: The photos for the house showed gates at the entrance and a swing set but these where not there when we arrived so the kids couldnt play outside in the upper part. The house wasnt overly clean with alot of spiders and webs around the living area and rooms and some of the bathrooms are run down. The travel cot was broke on arrival but a new one was provided the next day. The house is very open plan which meant it was noisy so when the toddlers were napping during the day and in bed at night, we had to be quiet which wasnt ideal. The house was very warm which can be good but none of the windows had latches that worked so the windows would swing out wide and cause a bad draft with doors slamming etc. In one of the bedrooms with the dormer windows above the bed, they had a very bad draft so my parents had to sleep with their heads at the foot of the bed to avoid the draft.
