In an effort to be as transparent as possible, please note that if you're looking for absolute, total privacy, The Raven may not be for you. You will have privacy, as the cabin is surrounded by woods and has a 300 foot treelined, gravel driveway, but during the winter months when there are no leaves on the trees, other houses are visible. The cabin is built on a hillside and any neighbors are down below.
Also, while the cabin is not built near the highway, you can see the highway during the winter months. During the summer and fall, the leaves block it from sight and filter most noise. It is "in town" in an established neighborhood of Nelsonville. Being in town allows for easy access to things like grocery stores and restaurants, but does not allow for the complete solitude that some guests desire.

Summary: This was an amazing spot to stay with my kids! Beautiful home. Great location, not far from Hocking Hills! Relaxing and Jennifer really did not forget anything as far as comfort and amenities go! We would definitely go back 100% recommend!

Summary: The Raven is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the Hocking area and beyond. The place was very clean and accomodating. The host was very good at communicating and making sure everything was fine. It's clear that they want their guests to feel at gome. Inwould highly recommend!

Summary: Exceptional!!! Very romantic, quiet , and relaxing. I knew this place was perfect when my husband kept expressing how great it was and how the hosts literally thought about EVERYTHING you could possibly need. This was an anniversary trip for us and the minor details to everything was a major plus. Interaction with the host was very quick and the extended check out is greatly appreciated! Thank you is not enough words we will be back!
