Negative: Mattresses , pillows all needed replacing , stains on all of them ,mismatched bedding . Dirty rugs , carpets and cushions . Shower in one of the bathrooms would only stay on if you held the button . Curtains poor quality and unfinished curtain rails and paintwork needed doing in all rooms . Scruffy exterior

Negative: There was insufficient kitchenware and the electrical wiring was a worry. Turning the water on in the upstairs shower dimmer the bathroom lighting. The gardens weren't as inviting as pictured and we had to hunt down a table and chairs

Negative: Outside area needs more attention, weeds etc. No outside table on patio and chairs dirty. Toilet seat on one loo did not fit properly. Much too small.

Positive: Lovely quiet location. All bedrooms had own en-suite. Ample parking. Owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful. They were also flexible when we had to amend our arrival time.
Negative: Living room was fine for 4 of us but could have felt small for 6 ( 2 of our party couldn’t join us at last minute).
Summary: Very peaceful stay with excellent hosts.

Positive: It was self catering. There were three different families so we had a room each it was a bit cramped at times and the step down into the small lounge worried me. If we’d wanted to watch tv as a group we couldn’t have done.
