Cast a fly for brown trout, rainbow trout and Kokanee salmon. Boat launch is a block down river and you can walk to the Gunnison White River Water Park or launch your raft or tube from the back yard river access. Only minutes away from downtown Gunnison, it's easy to ride your bike to town or to the many biking trails around, including Hartman Rocks and the Van Tuyle Loop and less than a mile away from the Regional Gunnison Airport for an easy commute.
Enjoy drinking your coffee on the spacious deck. Then after grilling steaks on the propane grill, enjoy sitting with a drink in front of the fire pit whilst relaxing in the comfortable Adirondack chairs beside the river on a chilly evening.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here and loved the location. The river was a big plus. The property meet all our needs. We will be looking to see if this property is available next time we plan to visit Gunnison. The host was great ,anytime we had a question she was quick to answer ,with detailed information.

Summary: I enjoyed this property. The outside deck and seating area by the River was very nice. My only critique would be the water had a strong metallic smell. Not sure if it’s due to being in a well. I didn’t drink or cook with it

Summary: Facility was very clean and well appointed. It was close to downtown Gunnison and was on the Gunnison River. Only drawback was the close proximity to major road. However it was peacefully sitting on backyard deck overlooking the Gunnison River. Host was very nice and provided great service and ammenities . Would go back again..

Summary: We stayed three nights and used Gunnison as a home base to visit Crested Butte, the Black Canyon, and go white water rafting. The house is right on the Gunnison and we enjoyed watching the river flow by. The house is well appointed and comfortable, but could use some attention and perhaps more oversight. Of two chairs near the fire pit, one is broken and appears to have been for some time. When we arrived there was some garbage in the driveway - looked an animal had gone through the garbage. The fresh flowers meant to welcome us were dead.

Summary: Great little neighborhood; quiet and comfortable. Great place for walks. The back yard has been cleaned up and we were able to fish right there. Are at the table outside most often. New TVs and chair since our visit in 2019.

Summary: I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I know these are things I would like to know before choosing a place to stay and I feel it’s important feedback for owners and managers. Overall this property had a lot of of potential… nice size for a family, on the river, decent location for spending time in crested butte. The property manager, Clare, was responsive and helpful. However, when we opened the front door we were overcome with a terrible smell. So bad I wasn’t sure how we could stay all week. We figured out the area rug in the living room was a primary source of the smell so we removed it to the garage. This helped a bunch but the master bedroom carpet still smelled terribly of pet odor. We had to buy odor sprays and leave windows open just to tolerate for sleeping. The carpet badly needs replacing. The other main issue is the water. It has a horrible metallic taste. We had to used bottled water for cooking and brushing teeth. I’ve never had well water taste that bad so it seems there may be a problem that needs addressing. Like I said, the property has potential but needs some updated furniture, bedding and CARPET.
