Summary: We had a lovely time at The Shouse, everything was as described on Stayz and Sonya has decorated the place beautifully and functionally. It was a very hot weekend but the extensive air conditioning cooled the place down quickly and made for a very comfortable stay. The location was convenient for exploring the River Murray in this unique time of flood. The Shouse is a special place to stay with so many beautiful and interesting touches curated by Sonya.

Summary: This property is amazing. Way better than the photos. All of the eclectic touches and ornamentation are fantastic. Sonya was also amazing - very kind and great communication plus nice little touches when we arrived. Even though we couldn’t get on the Murray river we very much enjoyed our 2 night stay. It was very hot but Sonya already had the air con on when we arrived. Thanks so much.

Summary: We stayed over NYE and had an amazing and relaxing time. There were even fireworks down by the river!! The property itself is stunning, and every amenity you could possibly need is provided (we cooked up a bbq feast each night!), and we thoroughly enjoyed the bath! Thank you again!

Summary: We had such a great time relaxing and utilising the shouse facilities we didn't want to leave. There was nice touches of amenities and extras, even down to salt and pepper! Cheese platter and farm eggs were a gorgeous suprise. Being up on the hill we felt safe enough, but able to witness the once in a lifetime experience of the mighty Murray being flooded. Sonya was so accommodating and lovely.. no question was too much trouble. Bless we wish you and your family all the best and will be back to the shouse in winter to see how the Murray is going and light that fire! Xx

Summary: The pictures do not do this property justice, it is simply amazing. The property's vintage design is perfect. The facilities were great, they all worked and were reliable. The property owner Sonya was terrific, we had one small problem with a door being locked and Sonya went out of her way to visit and fix the problem. Amazing customer service. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking to visit The Riverland.!
