Positive: The barn conversion was really stylish and comfortable. Well situated for the border with Scotland and the Lake District. Jane was a great host. Would definately recommend.
Negative: There wasn't anything to dislike.

Positive: Loved everything about it. A little hideaway from everything in the world. Well-equipped, comfortable, beautifully designed, quiet, peaceful. I sat in the garden and worked one sunny evening and felt like I’d taken a sabbatical somewhere to write a book. It’s an absolute dream, and Jane was the perfect host - distant and discreet but always there if needed.
Negative: Loses 1 mark because the main “monsoon” head in the shower didn’t work. But Jane told me about it beforehand and the secondary shower head worked perfectly.
Summary: The perfect place to hide - for work or play.

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous place, really cosy, peaceful and joyful, full of nature, beautiful interior decor and sense of calm. The owner is lovely and was so helpful and kind with everything, also leaving a lovely pudding and milk in the fridge. Water pressure in the shower was amazing, and the bed linens were very comfortable and smelled nice. The door-window by the tv is just bliss to look at at any time of day. Private gated parking driveway on stones.
Negative: The shower controls were a little bit tricky however the owner will have this looked at. Some places could have been ever so slightly cleaner, just things like some dust/bits/webs in corners and things like that and the sofas could do with a little clean possibly, this doesn't take away from the magnificent atmosphere though.
