Positive: I couldn't fault The Ruddings, the hotel was impeccably clean, modern and stylish. The beds were super cosy, it was very peaceful at night, so good night's sleep were had. The staff were warm, friendly and professional. We also dined in the restaurant, the food and service were also superb. Oh and the breakfast was all beautifully cooked, a good selection on the buffet bits, plus a sausage for the dogs, what more could you want.
Summary: A perfect base for exploring, for dining, for furry friends and for a good night's sleep.

Positive: Excellent and varied breakfast. I had porridge and fruit and toast and an egg florentine For dinner, my husband had a very good steak pie filled with meat and the most amazing gravy. I had a very tasty courgette soup with roll and butter. We sat very close to the fire which was lovely and warming.
Negative: I was served a very peculiar roll which was hard in the middle. I told the waiter and he brought me another one which was very warm to the touch and chewy. I was told it had been heated up in the oven. We would have liked to sit by the fireplace and read for a bit, but the light was very poor, so we moved back to our room where the light was better. Had a very comfortable sleep

Positive: Extremely clean. Plenty of space in the room, comfortable bed. Helpful staff, good choices at breakfast.
Negative: Some noise filtered through when water was running in other rooms. Not much of a view from the room we were in, but our fault as we should have requested. Wasn’t in the room much anyway. Very minor dislikes, overall it was excellent.
Summary: Very relaxing and enjoyable stay, good food, polite and helpful staff.

Positive: Nice room with a lovely view of the mountains. The hotel is very clean and beautifully renovated. Food was great both breakfast and evening meal. We had an amazing curry which was freshly cooked, it was delicious. 😊
Negative: Staff seemed a little rushed at times although it was pretty busy. Water temp could have been a little warmer but other than that there was nothing to complain about really.
