Negative: Not related to the Salt House at all - But, the local shop / restaurant was closed during our stay.

Positive: Lovely quirky property. Excellent facilities and loved having the use of the 2 bikes to explore this beautiful part of France.
Negative: Bed slightly hard & would have preferred an extra pillow. Couple of ants and flies in kitchen area.

Positive: We really liked the quirky triangle property on 3 levels, with a spiral staircase and all amenities offered. The opening window gave us an amazing picture postcard view of the river and we could see many birds flying and on the water. The kitchen was well fitted out and the garage washing facilities were all good. We could visit all we wanted to from this base on the Sarthe.
Negative: We found the front door jamming a small problem opening. A good suggestion would be to get it professionally re hung and keep the stable look. We had issue with the internet as it had a red “i” light on the box and we could not work out how to get TV use. This was not a huge problem as we liked the radio and French music offered on it. The vegetation around and up the steps could benefit from a trim to help access up.
