Summary: Great couple of days. Bob is very friendly and accommodating, lol, so are the dogs. Very close to the Gunks, New Paltz proper and the apple/wine farms, yet very quiet neighborhood/setting right by Minnewaska. House is very cozy (watch out if you’re tall haha) and rustic and the front screened in porch is very calming with the sound of the nearby creek. Hope to go back!

Summary: Don't come here expecting luxury. It's an old farmhouse in the woods. But the owner has been fixing it up. It has new flooring, and is nicely furnished and decorated. There are some powerful air conditioners on both floors, and it has its own wi-fi router in the laundry room with the password pasted on it. Having two full bathrooms is also a great convenience. But one of the best things about the house is its location. It's right on the edge of the impressive cliffs of the Shawangunks, and you can hike right from the house. Yet it's close to New Paltz and the many activities of the Hudson Valley, including good restaurants.

Summary: We were very comfortable in this house, loved the living room and upstairs bedroom especially. Robert was very friendly and helpful, showed us the private path that leads to the Minnewaska trail system. His friendly dogs were a pleasure. We would definitely return in the future.

Summary: Our family of 4 had nice comfortable mini-vacation for 3 nights . Comfortable evenings and mornings before and after days of hiking . House is recently renovated, clean. Host is friendly and responsive. Stable wi-fi and smart TV, functional and comfortable kitchen. Comfortable coaches in the living area Loved screened porch - not much view , but spacious , quiet and relaxing with plenty of seats . We love the area - easy and quick drive to Minnewaska parking areas . Checked private hiking path on the first day - it was too steep for us .

Summary: Great setting and location in proximity to the Gunks, Mohonk and the Village of Gardiner. Surrounded by cliffs and horse farms. The owner was awesome and VERY accommodating. We'll be back.

Summary: The location was nice. The owner was helpful. When we arrived we were missing toilet paper and towels but that was soon remedied. Be aware there the two twin beds are literally 6” off the floor. For someone like me, with bad knees, this was an issue. The upstairs bedroom was lovely and the kitchen adequate. The bathrooms are very small with no shelves to put toiletries on. The bedrooms need a dresser or table. There was nothing to put your suitcase on except the floor.
