Positive: The location was superb. Literally overlooking the canal onto Le Palais de I'lle. The apartment was really lovely and spacious. It was fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Absolutely stay here if you get the chance!

Positive: The apartment is very well located, close to supermarkets and tourist attractions. It has everything you need and is comfortable and cozy. The bedroom was comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. It also has nice decoration. Silent and perfect if there’s no tenant in the apartment next door.
Negative: Minor issues that did not affect our stay included the wrong Wi-Fi password in the welcome email, the absence of paper towels, an insufficient amount of toilet paper for the entire stay, and the lack of a pillow and bed linen for the person sleeping on the sofa bed. However, the main issue is that the apartment has no soundproofing at all. If there’s a tenant in the apartment next door, you simply won’t be able to sleep. In our case, we were only able to rest after 3 a.m., after I went to knock on the neighbor’s door to complain about the noise and ask them to stop.
Summary: Perfect if there’s no tenant in the apartment next door.

Positive: Superb location in the heart of the old town, backing onto the river with lovely views of the castle opposite and no windows overlooking from other buildings, so very private. Great South facing aspect. We particularly liked the large casement windows which made it feel like we had a balcony even though there wasn’t one.
Negative: There were a few issues with kitchen equipment and cleanliness. On arrival we found most of the cutlery and some of the crockery had smears or food leftovers still on them. We had to wash a lot of them before using them. On further inspection we found that the dishwasher had no rinse aid in it so we topped that up and it seemed to fix the problem, but we shouldn’t have had to do any of this. The electric kettle only worked if you held the ‘on’ button down manually until it boiled. The exhaust fan above the cooktop smelled - possibly the filters hadn’t been changed for some time.The fridge was iced up along the back wall and clearly needed defrosting - it froze an entire bottle of milk and wrecked some fruit and vegetables. Several of the saucepans didn’t have lids. Overall these issues were all avoidable and did detract from an otherwise great apartment.
Summary: Lovely apartment location-wise, but the kitchen facilities need work.

Positive: Traditional fourth storey apartment in the centre of Old Annecy and entrance to the property straight onto the town centre. Great to have to windows and shutters open to keep cool and listen to the hubbub of holiday makers as locals below. The bed was so comfy that we had great night's sleeping. Entry to the apartment is by way of a narrow, stone, spiral staircase which would make it difficult for a family with small children and elderly people. Would love to be able to go back and enjoy it again sometime.

Negative: Nothing. Although the exterior stairs should get a mention as they would be unsuitable for anybody who was disabled or had health problems but have no complaints would certainly stay again

Negative: There are a number of steps to get to the apartment so if there are mobility issues this would be an issue - but if not it is a delightful place to stay !
