Positive: The two rooms that we booked were both clean and well appointed. We had no complaints about the two rooms we had. The bar & restaurant was closed but that wasn't really a surprise as we were there out of season but the local bar up the road had parking, food & drinks for us at a reasonable price.

Positive: Location in Fairbourne itself was good. Near the beach and train station.

Negative: Meal in the restaurant very expensive and not value for money. Had gammon which was overcooked! Noisy rooms at night, early morning. Toilet in bathroom next to low window overlooking the main road.

Positive: Near to train station and beach. Family room was actually two separate rooms with own access.

Negative: Family room didn't include foc breakfast for anyone whereas all double rooms did include foc breakfast for same dates of stay. So had to pay for 4 breakfasts even though the children hardly ate anything. Also to have cereal as well as cooked breakfast was extra for everyone. Definitely not good value.
