Summary: The directions were perfect and I’m glad you included that the driveway would be easy to miss. The house was very clean and exactly what we’re were told we were going to get. We loved relaxing on the high porch overlooking the property. Listening to the goats play was entertaining. We didn’t spend a whole lot of time at the house because we were out exploring but it was the perfect house for our group. We did take the hikers trail up the mountain to find the primitive cabin. That was pretty neat. We loooooved the late checkout time. We were able to enjoy the mountain morning and make a big breakfast before we left. It was the perfect getaway. Thank you.

Summary: This house was loads of fun for my family and I at Thanksgiving. The proximity to West Jefferson was great. We had fun playing with the goats and chickens. The hike up to the old log cabin was cool too!! John was a very accommodating host and responded quickly to any questions.

Summary: The home was just as stated. Nice and homey. The property was just as nice with a large front yard that was on th side of the mountain. The kids had a blast rolling down it. The home is secluded even though the owner lives just above it, we never saw them other than the day of cheek in. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Really nice house and property. We used it as a central location to do the Virginia creeper trail and go to blowing rock. West Jefferson was a cool town and this house was super nice for when we weren't out and about. We enjoyed our stay and really liked the house. It was a cool place with some neat books and pictures inside and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Summary: Great property to rent for a relaxing vacation. The house was clean and had ample supplies for the 5 adults in our group. Loved watching the deer in the front each evening. The fresh water from the spring is fantastic. WiFi is great for such a remote location. We recommend this rental. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Summary: Our stay at Springhouse on Mill Creek was excellent. It was everything we expected. Everyone enjoyed the house and it’s peaceful surroundings. Walking the property, relaxing in the hammock or on the front porch, you are surrounded by nature and it’s beauty. The house is furnished with beautiful antiques and is so inviting and cozy. I hope I can plan a trip there again soon!
