Positive: This was a beautifully converted stables which had everything one could need to make you feel at home. The kitchen was a good size and well equipped with quality fittings. Everywhere was really clean. There is a lovely local shop not far away.

Negative: We didn’t find the beds very comfortable .

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay here.

Positive: The host was a very pleasant gentleman, the property was excellent, couldn't have asked for anything more. I will give it 5 stars and will definitely be using it again.

Positive: The location was perfect for us the host was very helpful and friendly and it was spotless. We would recommend it to our friends The kitchen was also very well equipped

Negative: A plug by the mirror so we could do our hair,and somewhere to put your things in the bathroom maybe a shelf or small cupboard

Positive: What's not to love? A home in the country away from it all but with all mod cons and a great host. When the only criticism you can make of a place is that the mugs are a tad small (for a proper brew, maybe bring your own!), it tells you everything about how great this place is. Trawden's pretty good too! Hats off to Andrew for being an exceptional host :)

Positive: Lovely modern, clean kitchen and bathrooms. Andrew was very helpful. House was warm.

Negative: Unfortunately there were no hooks in either bathrooms or in the bedrooms so nowhere to hang towels etc. Sitting room was uncomfortable due to old furniture. New sofas would be a great improvement. Sadly the second bedroom was only suitable for children, the beds were too small for adults. The wardrobe in the 2nd bedroom was so small and there were no drawers to place clothes, which had to remain in the cases. The house is really only suitable for two adults and two children. Having said all that we still managed to have a good time.

Positive: Self catering…perfect for our needs and travel plans.Loverly converted stables. Very nicely done. Quality crockery and silver wear, pans that were NOT burnt and unuseable. Andrew’s pans were just lovely to use… made the food taste it should.In all the places we stay we have learnt to take our own pans but this time they stayed in the car. Andrew was there to meet and greet us and did a tour and gave us useful info. Great sleep, great mattresses. 3 toilets and 2 showers, lovely thick towels. 1800 church next door … the bells were delight to me. Secluded and quiet but not in the boonies…. Village run store down the road, also the pub Trawden Arms ( meet the volunteers) Sainsbury’s,Matalan, Tk max,Boundary mill out let,and a discount bits and bobs store (like poundstore) Colne, Nelson and the M65 and M62 5 mins away Brontë sisters land with Haworth their home town …turn right out the property Enjoy your stay you won’t be sorry Great for walkers … plenty trails but also great for non walkers like us.

Negative: Parking tight for car larger than a quaquai size or larger so go careful .

Summary: Week holiday, thoroughly enjoyable time.Absolutely lovely . Will book again next time we are up Nort
