Positive: The cottage is in such a lovely tranquil location, it’s a short walk from the river and a few minutes drive to Sedbergh. The property itself is beautiful, well equipped, tastefully decorated throughout, comfortable and clean. We could even smell how clean it was upon entering the property. It was a lovely touch to find milk , muffins, biscuits along with tea and coffee left for us. There was a selection of board games which we used and the wood burner was so cosy on the night once it started to get a bit chilly. The beds and pillows were extra comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep which we normally don’t when we are away. The owner was lovely too and thanked us for leaving the cottage immaculate which was a nice touch. We will be booking to come back for a longer stay as we loved it so much.

Positive: The cottage was in a beautiful small hamlet. It was a very quiet location that was easy to find and only a 20 minute walk to Sedbergh which had a lovely pub ( the Red Lion) and various cafes and shops. There was a parking space right next to the property. As soon as you opened the door it smelt really fresh and was very clean and well presented. The host had left us some chocolates and also milk in the fridge which was a really nice touch. Everything you needed was provided from towels, toilet rolls and cleaning products to games, a torch, candles and walking sticks. There were plenty of lovely walks around the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.

Positive: This cottage is by far the best cottage we have ever stayed in, and we have breaks away quite a lot. It's spacious with everything you could want in a holiday let. On arrival it had Easter decorations and chocolate eggs, which was lovely. The village is beautiful and quiet. Definitely will return. Also great for walks.

Positive: The cottage is cozy and beautifully furnished and decorated. Its location is peaceful and scenic, lots of walks and cycling from the doorstep. Sedbergh only an easy 10 min walk away. People very friendly and helpful in Millthrop.
