Positive: This apartment exceeded every expectation we had. We stayed for six nights as part of a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Rome to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary — and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The apartment itself is not only immaculately clean — in fact, it was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in — but also incredibly well-equipped. From kitchen utensils to extra towels, air conditioning units in both the living room and bedroom, fast Wi-Fi, and even little thoughtful touches, everything was perfect. The layout of the flat (a bright living room, spacious bedroom, full kitchen, bathroom, hallway, and a charming terrace with a city view) made us feel completely at home. But what truly made the stay special was the hostess, warm, helpful, and absolutely attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely caring and available. If we had needed anything extra, she would have responded instantly. We also appreciated the calm atmosphere and good rest at night, thanks to excellent sound insulation. Another huge plus was the free street parking, which is nearly impossible to find in Rome!

Negative: The only thing to be aware of is the location. The apartment is in the Pigneto district, which is culturally diverse and located a bit farther from the historic center. While we initially booked it due to the proximity to the Malatesta station (Metro C), it turned out that the metro line was still under construction and not running after 9 PM, or during weekends. This meant we had to rely on trams for getting to the center, which made transport a bit more complicated and less comfortable — especially late in the evening. The bus line was not clear when you come late at night from the city center, so in the end, for coming back to the flat, we used a taxi, which was the right move. However, this inconvenience was far outweighed by the quality of the apartment and the kindness of the host.
