Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Bill Brown was an outstanding host! Helpful, very pleasant and personable and available! And an excellent cook. Try his haddock. Or his lobster. Beautiful location with spectacular views! Nice room!

Negative: Initially I thought that it’s being on another island away from Kirkwall etc would be a disadvantage but that turned out to be one of its most outstanding features; with isolation, quiet, beauty, pleasant locals, major broch, cairn, two archeological digs, excellent ferry service, etc.

Summary: I’d strongly recommend this fine place to anyone!
