Positive: It felt very loved in and lived in. It had everything you could possibly want including an easy-going and responsive host. It is close to everything you could possibly want or need but quiet enough for you to get a good night's sleep. The value for money given the location, facilities etc can't be beaten. When I told native Melbourners how much I paid for the week, they were stunned. I could write all day but you need to stay here for yourself. If this is available next time I'm in Melbourne, I'm staying here for sure.

Negative: There was an overzealous smoke alarm that, despite me holding and pressing the reset button for dear life and opening up every door and window known to humankind in the apartment, it rang for ten minutes continuously.

Summary: Comfortable, classy, cosy, cost-effective and convenient - everything you could possibly want.
