6 Bedroom House in Holly Lake Ranch

The Tree House sits on 4 lots at Holly Lake Ranch, TX, a resort in the piney woods of east Tx. It allows perfect privacy for our guests, you cannot see another house. The creek area at the back of the property is very secluded and even has a tree swing. It has an outdoor living area on the deck and a fire pit in the yard. Upon walking into the house it immediately draws you in with the stone fireplace and all the comfortable places to relax and enjoy company or just enjoy viewing deer in the yard. The entire impeccably decorated, furnished and stocked house will be yours to enjoy. The kitchen has the dishes and pans to prepare a gourmet meal.
It is located inside Holly Lake Ranch resort where most activities are free of charge. No fishing license is required on the Ranch. Other activities are pickleball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, play ground, basketball courts, Frisbee golf, picnic areas, dog park, badminton, and sand volleyball. Eighteen holes of golf are available for a fee , but the driving range is free. The HOA in 2020 has put a limit per household of 10 persons at each amenity, please abide by their rules. Two lakes for fishing, paddling, and boating. The swimming poolis open during Spring Break and close in September. Guests can access the pool by using the bar code pass obtained when the go to security to enter the Ranch. A full service Restaurant called Whiskeys, and bar are located near the pro shop .
The house is kid friendly and they will like the 6 built in bunk beds. We limit the number of children to 6, not including infants. Toys, games and videos are provided. This home provides plenty of room to spread out and make wonderful memories. Must have owner permission if you want to have over 6 children, it is usually not a problem.

Summary: This home is beautiful and exceeded our expectations! We had three families at this home and never felt crowded. Loved all the places on the deck but mostly stayed under the covered area gathered watching grands and TV. It was so peaceful, could not have asked for a better place to gather for my 60th birthday. We hope to return again!

Summary: Beautiful, serene property that was clean and well maintained. Communication with homeowner was responsive. Had just about everything we needed and we certainly enjoyed the beautiful outdoor spaces to gather. We were aware of the number of bedrooms and number of bathrooms,and knew that some bedrooms shared a bathroom. What was surprising was that the guest in upstairs queen BR has to walk through bunk room to get to bathroom. Even more difficult, is that the guests in TreeHouse BR have to walk outside on patio to get to bathroom that is shared with twin BR. This would probably work fine for young families but was very inconvenient for us older women who have to get up in the night. Still, it was an interesting house, and we had a good time.

Summary: Everything was great. If anything, the house had more room than expected. Had 10 adults and 3 kids, and never felt cramped. Yard and deck were fantastic spaces, and there was space for people to also kind of go their own way if they wanted some time alone to read or whatever. Everything was clean and well cared-for. Highly recommended.

Summary: This is our second time staying at the Tree House and like last time, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was lots of places to sleep, plenty of bathrooms and showers and lots of space to stretch out. The outdoor living room is fantastic when the weather is nice. Saw lots of deer, squirrels, and birds. One our favorite places to relax and catch up.

Summary: This is the second time to stay here. We have a big family with young grandchildren and it fits our needs perfectly. Very clean and well stocked with dishes, kitchen utensils etc. Easy to reach the owners if need be.

Summary: We had a fabulous vacation staying at this vacation home in Holly Lake Ranch. The online pictures were very nice, but the home itself was very impressive in-person and much bigger than we thought it would be and the grounds were beautiful. There was so many fun activities for adults and kids at HLR. We had a great time!

Summary: We loved the house, we enjoyed the stay, but after check out some problems arose. The owners were very particular about a few things and that was frustrating. While we were staying there a big rain came through so one little boy went and turned some pavers over to look for worms. He didn’t put them back (It was behind the house so we didn’t see them or we would have moved them back) so we had to pay $100 for someone to come and move 15-20 garden pavers. That seemed crazy high and unrealistic but we paid it and moved on. Upon arrival two of the bunk beds were broken so we weren’t able to use them and then while we were there an adult was getting out of the bunk and the wood underneath snapped. We lifted the mattresses up to see what the problem was and it appeared that they had broke before because multiple slats were different colors and thicknesses. There were not enough slats in the bunks to support the weight. On a positive note the owner said they were going to fix all the of the bottom bunks so they should be good for the next renters.
