Nevertire is perched high above the winding Hopkins River, offering you 180 degree views up and down the river and the rolling green of your own private garden.
The first floor contains the master King bedroom with split system heating/cooling. This room hosts a large ensuite with spa bath, separate shower and a double sink vanity. The master room also has its own decking area with outdoor lounge, enjoy a morning coffee with views over the garden towards the Hopkins River or in the evening watch the setting sun cast its shadows up the river.
The second bedroom contains 2 single beds and the third and fourth bedrooms both come with Queen beds & built in robes.There is a second bathroom on this floor, ideal for the kids with bath & toilet. Finally on this level of the house is a large laundry room with separate washing machine & clothes dryer as well as access into the 2 car garage.
An additional quiet office room offers a spacious corner desk & office chair. There is no reason not to able to sneak in a few hours of work while you are away or your teenager may want to pack the school books to cram some extra study before exam time. You can certainly put the WiFi to good use in this space!
Head upstairs and enjoy the large open plan kitchen/living room with split system, open fire place and beautiful river views. There is dining seating for 8 with bar stools to accompany at the large breakfast bar. The kitchen bench space is perfect for all your cooking needs. It's well equipped for large families or multiple families with a double dishwasher and double oven.
In the winter enjoy the open fire and put on a family movie or make memories with a family games night. There is an outdoor setting for 8 with a brand new BBQ on the balcony on this top level which overlooks the river, tennis court & garden area where the children can run & play.
The final part of this home is downstairs with an additional 2 bedrooms - one with a queen and the second with a double, single & trundle if required. There is a second open plan kitchenette and living area downstairs with the added bonus of a snooker table. This is a great space for the kids to come together or perfect for families who want to get away together but still enjoy their own space.
The kitchenette is really ideal for a teenagers retreat to self prepare their own breakfast/lunches & hang out together, or for the fellas where they can enjoy a few drinks & nibbles around the pool table.
Downstairs also contains a second washing machine & clothes dryer, the kids can even take care of their own washing whilst you are away. We can all dream!

For the more adventurous send them in search of the tyre swing or bring the fishing rods and hunt for bream in the river. Follow the steps down to the riverside and settle down for a sunny afternoon flicking the rod and enjoying the peace and quiet. There is a shared path down to the river on each boundary side of the property.

Summary: We enjoyed the stay. The yard was secure, large and comfortable for our dog. Kids enjoyed the pool table and tennis court. A little dated, but clean and comfortable.

Summary: We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with the river view. Just one thing should be considered and it was the downstair bathroom door was hard to open from inside.

Summary: We had a large family group of 12 adults, 2 kids and a dog. There was plenty of space for all to sleep - though the beds aren't the most comfortable. House is a little dated but has everything you need, the fireplaces kept us very warm but it would be nice for firewood to be ready inside on arrival. Outdoors wise the yard was lovely and large, tennis was fun/tiring (BYO balls) though we could not find the switch for the flood lights anywhere (where was it hiding??), and the walk down to the river was great for fishing or just for peace and quiet and views. It's a few minutes drive to the shops but being close to the river is worth it. The BBQ on the balcony didn't seem to be the new one we were expecting as per the listing, so that was probably the only disappointing thing. Overall, it's a good spacious place for large groups.

Summary: Huge property with beautiful views and only the sounds of birds and water to relax you. This property is guaranteed to be a winner for any group or large family, rooms galore, even a sauna, pool table and tennis court to keep everyone entertained. We are definitely coming back. Not to mention the 1970 intercom system...fun times!

Summary: Nevertire was the perfect location for a group of friends to stay. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and communal spaces, it was easy to have your own space and also come together. The lawn and tennis courts were a real bonus. We loved our time there!

Summary: The property was well equipped, clean and spacious for each one in our family and their needs. My kids loved the lawn and tennis court! It is also close to the town centre passing by beautiful scenery. Communication with property manager is excellent! Prompt response and answered all our questions. We would recommend this property for sure!

Summary: Nicely located and well fitted out for family groups. Only problem was it was supposed to have a fully enclosed backyard for dogs but it had one gate that wouldn’t close properly and a hole in the chicken wire that our dog escaped out of!! Hardly secure! Spoiled our Port fairy folk festival weekend as one of our family members had to stay home to look after the dog- disappponting! If advertised as fully enclosed then it should be!
