Welcome to the mansion Schluchsee, where the Black Forest is most beautiful. Come in, enjoy, relax and make yourself and secure!
On the ground floor you will find a cozy lounge, an open designer kitchen, the dining area with a huge table and fireplace and a glass fireplace. The spacious open-air site invites you to play and relax.
Our house is a real alternative to a first-class hotel and ideally located for families, a holiday with friends and of course for business events and seminars. It enjoys an idyllic location near the forest, surrounded by pine trees, a softly babbling brook and is admired at night and from time to time by a small deer or fox.
Behind the more than 100 years old, massive stone walls of the former aristocratic manor reveals a very special charm. The spacious, lounge-style living area on the ground floor invites you for socializing, while the club room features with 3D TV and music retreat. A piano gives rise to play together and our little guests can find in the studio area on the upper floor their own play-paradise.
The designer kitchen of our house is luxuriously furnished and equipped with appliances of the highest quality. Thus no wishes remain open during your stay with us even when physical well.
Our 4 spacious bedrooms on the first floor were decorated with great feeling for detail and each has its own style. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and sanitary interior in a class.
The quality furnishings and wallpaper art of our house we wanted elected headstrong and extremely tasteful. The large-format paintings with Schwarzwald motives were reinterpreted by Karin Demirel and specially designed for us.
Whether with friends or family - located in the middle of nature, the mansion Schluchsee is an oasis of calm and relaxation. You will spend on the terraced comfort levels around a tiled stove and an open fireplace or our spacious landscaped grounds unforgettable hours in a relaxed atmosphere.

Summary: Four siblings and our spouses spent 2 nights at this beautiful home. The bedroom / bathroom layout with all ensuites was perfect for us! The living space and modern kitchen were both very spacious and made our time there quite comfortable. Only issue is we wish we could have stayed longer!!

Summary: Everything you need from the kitchen to hiking guides (all in German). Perfect for travel with an 18 month old. Lovely location in the woods, next to a stream with waterfall . 10 min drive to restaurants.

Summary: We enjoyed a fantastic 3 generation family holiday in Herrenhaus. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, very spacious and comfortable and in a wonderful forest location near Lake Schluchsee. Despite the quality of the furniture and all the fittings it is a really child friendly and child proof house to be in and happily accommodated our 5 energetic grandchildren aged 12 to 8. We were most impressed with the generous way the house is kitted out and managed. A wonderful kitchen made home catering very enjoyable. Thank you Peter and Michael. We hope very much to return to Herrenhaus in the future for another family holiday.

Summary: Peter & Co rent out a real "gem" here. The "Herrenhaus" is greatly located to visit the highlights of the southern and more alpine part of the beautiful Black Forest. The Schluchsee is a real beauty, in particular on a morning run and you find plenty of hiking trails nearby. We did two nice walking tours starting and ending at the house and then we also drove to the nearby Wutachschlucht and Ravennaschlucht which are c. 20 - 30min away by car. The house has a very high standard interior design and plenty of space to accommodate 10 adults and 3 kids comfortably. We are looking forward to visiting the house again, next time maybe with the Moutainbikes. Thanks Peter for the nice trip, Robin

Summary: The property was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 6 children, including 2 infants. Four spacious en suite double rooms and an attic dormitory for the kids. Peter and MIchael thought of everything from toys for the kids, big screen TV to a selection of wine glasses and kitchenware that enabled us to cook several meals for ourselves. The house is surrounded by forest, but only 10 min from a large supermarket and several restaurants. Strongly recommended.
